PICC is a valuable resource in our community that helps the tiniest victims of drug abuse -- babies who are born addicted to drugs. PICC has given a safe and healthy start to more than 3,500 babies over the past 35 years, and now they are in need of our help.

For the first time in 35 years, the cribs in our beautiful nursery at Pediatric Interim Care Center (PICC) are empty. Our state contract to receive infants needing transitional medical care was cancelled, along with our state appropriation. This is happening during an unprecedented crisis: more babies are dying from fentanyl poisoning in drug-involved homes than ever before.
